L&I Begins 2013 Ratemaking Process

The Washington State Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) announced plans to discuss possible changes to premium rates for 2013 at advisory committee meetings and public hearings in October.

The Department also filed a
“preproposal statement of inquiry” saying it will discuss possible changes with the Workers’ Compensation Advisory Committee and Retrospective Rating Advisory Committee over the coming months. The Department did not say in the notice if it will pursue a rate hike for next year. Read More...
